Thanks to everyone who voted for me as Best Snowmobile Performance, at the 2008 Xtremey awards last weekend… Also a big thank you to my sponsors, MainJet Motorsports, Arctic Cat, Canadian Power Machines, Kenergy Compression, Pure Addiction Motorsports, Mountain Mod Light weight seats and sled parts, Boondocker, Menz Toyz, Benteck Track Repair and Slydog Skiis..and Country Side Homes.. Thanks for all the help and support…

The snows still great here in the BC interior, we’re a month behind normal conditions,, so it might be May but the snowpack is more like April conditions and depth .. Here’s a great stuck picture, Ryan ( NEWS) Scarpino stuck deep up in the Norns last month. Stuck picture of the year,, wow, we sure had deep powder this year… Spring riding should last well into June and maybe even July..spring-sledding-028.jpg

Krazy Chutes in the West Kootenays

Found a brand new area last week.. Awesome chutes, and dozens of them.. These two Krazy Canadian’s from Saskatchewan helped me pick out a few nasty ones.spring-sledding-045.jpg

Chad and Nathan, both road like true mountain men. The powder was a bit deep for the 121″ skidoo though. Check out the pictures of this new area on the photo gallery.

The Valhalla Range, EXTREME sledding

If you can’t ride well, or don’t have much experience, you shouldn’t ride this area. A dozen creek drainages, with logging roads, access these awesome riding areas. Each road takes you to a new amazing area. It’s easy to put on 80 miles or 120 kms per day.. I always pack in 20 extra liters of fuel. Avalanche chutes help access these areas. So if the avalanche danger is high, it’s not recommended to try access these areas. Occasionally the snow pack is safe enough, in January and February, but usually we don’t ride this area until March, April and May. June has surprised us with two feet of fresh powder in the Valhalla’s, but access can be tricky in June. 9000 foot peaks and large lakes at 7000 feet dot the Valhallas. Located just an hour from Castlegar and Nelson B.C., the Valhallas never fail to amaze and inspire. Located at the entrance, of this amazing riding area is The Valhalla Riversuites Vacation Condos. Great place to stay and only a few minutes from the unloading areas. The Norns is awesome but the Valhalla Range is even better… If,,, you don’t mind getting stuck and like extreme areas.april-24-079.jpgapril-24-060.jpg

Krazy Canadians from the Kootenays

We might be Krazy Canadian’s but we got Russian blood… Chris Hoodicoff and Nolan Hadikin are both nutz. These two Skidoo drivers, take there sleds to the MAX. Both climbing and flying, they’ll both be recognized names in the EXTREME sledding industry soon.. Nolan flying over his G/F and Chris dropping a huge drop at the Meteor Mine Hillclimb
